EXPLORE EAST END AND RUM POINT


After seeing the sights of historic George Town, the capital of the Cayman Islands, the tour continues through picturesque South Sound and then heads west and includes the following highlights and stops:


  • See the Blow Holes seaside in High Rock, which, depending on the weather, are sure to delight as the waves pound up through the majestic natural cuts in the ironshore.


  • Experience the quaint fishing village of East End.


  • Stop at the site and learn about the infamous Wreck of the Ten Sails, which took place in 1794 off the coast in East End.


  • See the majestic north coast of the Island and the village of North Side.


  • Explore Starfish Point, where Cayman’s protected, colossal, orange starfish graze, in the shallows of North Sound.


  • Lunch on your own at the famous oceanfront Rum Point Beach & Restaurant and  enjoy free time for a dip in the ocean or a siesta in a beach hammock.

CRYSTAL CAVES & RUM POINT 


After seeing the sights of historic George Town, the capital of the Cayman Islands and the picturesque South Sound, this tour winds along the south side of the island through the quaint village of Bodden Town before traversing the island in Frank Sound to cut to the north shore where the action begins:


  • Cayman Crystal Caves:  Located in the lush tropical forest in Northside, this natural attraction is home to spectacular and pristine underground caves. The guided walking tour, approximately 1 and ½ hours long, is an adventure exploration of “Cayman Down Under”. Your knowledgeable and friendly local guide will lead you through the unique tropical forest nature, under which the caves formed.  You will venture into breathtaking caves where you’ll see stalactite and stalagmite crystal structures and otherworldly formations, formed by single drops of water and the slow passage of time.  Amongst the forest and caves are captivating tropical plant and animal life, including strangler balsam trees, air plants, parrots, and bats.  Please note that suitable walking shoes and comfortable attire for warm weather are strongly recommended.


  • Rum Point R&R&R: Rest, Relaxation and Refreshment at Rum Point! Take a swim in the crystal blue waters, rent jet skis or a stand-up paddle board, soak in the sun, and/or enjoy some local cuisine and cocktails while you relax on the famous remote Rum Point Beach (water sports rentals, food and beverages are not included in the tour price)
